  7. English 201: Homonyms for MS-Windows 3.x/95 is a complete lesson in the definition and proper use of Homonyms in sentences.  The program is intended to be used as a personal study aid.  It can used by school-age children or adults wishing to keep their fundamental English skills sharp.    
  8. The program will introduce the user to Homonyms, then allow the user to progressively use the concepts in a variety of sentences.  To enforce the learning potential the correct answers are always immediately available.

  10. The program is easy to use and is very direct in its teaching style.   A detail description of the program is presented in the opening screens of the program.

  41. SETUP-INSTALLATION:

  44. After downloading the ZIP file to your computer you must first uncompressed the zipfile using PKUNZIP.
  45. After uncompressing the files.

  47. 1. Start Windows
  48. 2. Go the main program group
  49. 3. Select the file manager.
  50. 4. Goto the directory where the files you uncompressed are.
  51. 5. Double click SETUP.EXE
  52.  
  53. * Obviously if you know windows you can pick a route that better suits your needs.
  54. This will start the setup program.  The setup program follows a standard windows installation routine.  The setup program will prompt you to confirm the directory where the program is to be installed. C:\ENG201 is the default.

  56. The setup program will automatically create a program group called Eng201 and a icon labeled the same.
  57. The setup program will indicate when it is finished installing the program.

  59. To start the program just double click the icon Eng201. Assuming you are familiar with standard windows operation the program is very easy to navigate.
